INTERCLEAN 2025: 190 Attendees Came to Olomouc

Olomouc — On Thursday, 9 October, the NH Collection Olomouc Congress hotel hosted the 28th edition of the country’s only conference for textile-care professionals. The event reaffirmed its status as the sector’s key meeting place: more than 190 participants attended, alongside a record 15 exhibitors.

The traditional gathering of the Czech Association for Textile Care took place in Olomouc for the first time and drew a record 15 exhibitors. The programme focused on sustainability and technological innovation — the Association’s general partner Christeyns presented energy-saving systems and more eco-friendly alternatives for laundry and dry cleaning. The expert line-up featured Milan Sedláček (RENARDS) on current and future subsidy opportunities for laundries and dry cleaners, Jan Langmeier on agency employment, Lucie Beránková on the economic impacts of global change, and Vít Schlesinger on maintaining mental energy. The day was hosted by Czech Television presenter Veronika Kadeřábková.

“We passed the 190-attendee mark and confirmed that INTERCLEAN is where practical, real-world solutions are born. Olomouc was a perfect fit — great accessibility, excellent facilities and outstanding energy in the room. Had it not been for the onset of the respiratory-illness season and numerous last-minute apologies, we would have exceeded 200 attendees — we’re saving that milestone for next year,” said Jana Puškáčová, President of the Czech Association for Textile Care.

The evening programme offered Richard Nedvěd’s comedy-magic show, a gala with a prize draw emceed with witty commentary by former football striker and entertainer Petr Švancara, and a closing karaoke disco. “The record interest from exhibitors shows that innovation is the true competitive edge today — from energy and water savings to longer textile lifespans and new materials. I’m pleased INTERCLEAN is becoming a place where we don’t just get inspired; we set concrete projects in motion,” added Jana Puškáčová.
