How the certification process works
- Certification involves verifying a laundry or dry cleaning business for compliance with required standards.
- For industrial laundries, the Association of Laundries and Dry Cleaners (APaC) oversees the issuance of certificates based on Industry Specifications. These documents are published by the Technical Standardization Center of the Textile Testing Institute and are designed with a focus on best practices, meaning they adhere to the highest industry standards.

- Certification for dry cleaners is currently under development. Its concept is based on a so-called control package, which includes verifying dry cleaning services on selected garment samples, followed by an audit.
