The Largest Textile Care Market Research Project Has Begun

The Czech Association for Textile Care is launching the most comprehensive textile care market research project ever conducted in the Czech Republic. If you are contacted by NEUBERT marketing & Company in the coming weeks, we kindly ask you to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your responses will help create the most comprehensive picture of the Czech textile care market and provide valuable insights not only for individual companies but for the entire industry.

Four Perspectives on One Industry

Following the successful research project conducted in 2024, we are continuing our cooperation with NEUBERT marketing & Company, which is preparing the most extensive textile care market study ever undertaken for the Association. Unlike previous years, this time we will not be focusing solely on laundries and dry cleaners.

The research will examine:

  • the current situation and future plans of laundries and dry cleaners,
  • the opinions and needs of their business customers,
  • the experiences of laundries and dry cleaners with suppliers of technology, chemicals, textiles, and service support,
  • the attitudes and experiences of consumers who use or are considering using laundry and dry-cleaning services.

Laundries and dry cleaners will be asked about topics such as capacity utilization, investments, energy costs, staffing challenges, water and energy consumption, planned investments, and supplier relationships. Business customers will evaluate their experiences with outsourced laundry and dry-cleaning providers, reasons for satisfaction or dissatisfaction, expectations of service providers, and interest in new services. The consumer section of the research will explore how the public perceives laundry and dry-cleaning services, what motivates people to use them, and what services they are likely to demand in the future.

“The most important aspect is that, in addition to the perspective of laundries themselves, we will now gain insight into how their customers view the market. This is something we have not explored before. The market is evolving rapidly, and it often turns out that service providers have different assumptions about customer needs than the customers themselves. This comparison of perspectives is extremely valuable because it helps companies make decisions based on facts rather than assumptions or impressions.”

Robert Neubert, NEUBERT marketing & Company

Data That Can Help Your Business

This research is not an academic exercise. Its purpose is to deliver practical insights that can be used in the day-to-day management of companies.

The results will provide participants with a better understanding of:

  • customer expectations,
  • market price sensitivity,
  • competitors’ investment plans,
  • capacity developments within the industry,
  • major operational challenges,
  • trends in technology, energy, and digitalization,
  • future requirements of both business and consumer customers.

Results to Be Presented at the INTERCLEAN Conference

The findings of this exceptional research project will be so significant that an entire morning session of the INTERCLEAN Conference, taking place in Prague on 1 October, will be dedicated to presenting and discussing the results. Conference participants will be the first to gain detailed insight into trends and developments that may significantly influence the future direction of the Czech textile care market.

Why Is Your Participation Important?

To ensure that this project delivers real value, we need the support of every laundry and dry-cleaning company. Your responses will determine how accurate and useful the final market picture will be. Every completed questionnaire improves the quality of the results.

“Every completed response matters. The more laundries and dry cleaners participate, the more accurate our understanding of the market will be. The results are valuable not only for individual companies when making business and investment decisions, but also for the Association when negotiating with government authorities, ministries, funding institutions, and other stakeholders. Reliable data helps us effectively represent and promote the interests of our industry. I would therefore like to ask all Association members for their full cooperation.”

Jana Puškáčová, President of the Czech Association for Textile Care

“We will definitely participate in the research. Data of this kind helps us better understand customer expectations and how these evolve over time. Whether we are talking about business customers or end consumers, it is important for us to know what services and approach they truly expect from us.”

Prokop Drášil, Managing Director, Arbela s.r.o.

How Will You Know That You Are Being Contacted by the Association’s Research Partner?

In the coming weeks, representatives of NEUBERT marketing & Company will be contacting operators of laundries and dry cleaners.

Contact may take place through:

  • telephone interviews,
  • online questionnaires sent by e-mail,
  • or a combination of both methods.

Interviewers will always introduce themselves as representatives of NEUBERT marketing & Company, which is conducting the research on behalf of the Czech Association for Textile Care.

If you are contacted, we kindly ask you to devote a few minutes to completing the survey. Your experience and data can make a significant contribution to the creation of the most comprehensive analysis ever conducted of the Czech textile care market.

We Guarantee Anonymity

All responses will be processed anonymously. The Association will not have access to individual company responses or specific company data. Like all participants, it will receive only aggregated and statistically processed results. The purpose of the research is not to evaluate individual businesses but to obtain the most accurate possible picture of how the market functions as a whole.

Help Us Map the Industry

The Czech laundry and dry-cleaning sector has never before undertaken research on this scale. We now have a unique opportunity to gather data that will help us better understand customers, identify future trends, and prepare for the challenges of the years ahead.

When your phone rings or an e-mail arrives from NEUBERT marketing & Company in the coming weeks, please consider dedicating a few minutes to this joint industry initiative.

Thank you for helping shape the future of the Czech textile care market.
