The members of the APaČ expert commissions met in the second half of October to evaluate the status of the currently resolved activities and at the same time establish a work program for the year 2024. The common topic was the certification of operations.
The Commission for Industrial Laundries, led by Chairman Jan Chrištof from CHRIŠTOF Laundry, discussed the content revision of documents for certification for industrial laundries according to OS at its meeting on October 17 in Brno. These were revised already in 2022, which, however, focused mainly on unification with the new Statutes of the APaČ, formal revision and overall simplification. The members of the Association will also have the opportunity to comment on the content issue already at the beginning of next year. The commission for small laundries and dry cleaners, led by the chairperson Hana Šabatková from the Jihlava Laundry and Dry Cleaners, among other things, addressed the current status of the Dry Cleaners Certification project. As already approved by the APaČ presidency in the first half of this year, the Association will apply for support from EU funds for this project.
