On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, an online meeting of the Commission for Small Laundries and Dry Cleaners (KpMPCHČ) took place, chaired by Hana Šabatková.
Key points from the meeting:
Amortization table and formula:
The working group has completed the B2C amortization table and sent it for comments to the Technical University in Liberec. At the same time, work is underway on an example of calculating the amortization of a specific garment, prepared by Mr. Adamy.
Dry cleaner certification:
Changes to the certification process proposed by Mr. Adamy were presented – including simplifying the process, dividing payments over three years, and offering annual bonuses for certified facilities. The commission members appreciated and agreed with the proposals.
Legal support for dry cleaners:
The company Cleany offered to share legal support for dry cleaners through APaČ. Discussions are ongoing about potential cooperation, including training and consultations.
Ecological alternative to PER:
The association is preparing an article on alternatives to the PER solvent for the Informátor magazine. Commission members were encouraged to submit specific suggestions and questions.
Planned events:
Members were informed about the opportunity to submit topics for expert lectures at the INTERCLEAN 2025 conference (October 9 in Olomouc). Discussions are also underway regarding an organized trip to the Clean Show 2025 in Orlando. The company PRAGOPERUN has expressed willingness to support the trip. In the coming weeks, a questionnaire will be sent to association members to gauge interest in participation.
