On November 19, the APaČ Board meeting took place at the NH Collection Olomouc Congress hotel, attended by exhibitors and partners. The agenda included a tour of the hotel, which will host the 28th edition of the INTERCLEAN conference on October 9, 2025.
During the meeting, the members of the board approved the creation of a new discussion forum in the members’ section of the APaČ website. This forum will allow members to share opinions on important topics intended for discussion within the association’s bodies, propose educational activities, and the format of presentations at the INTERCLEAN conference, as well as exchange experiences in customer service practices. The forum was established at the request of several association members and is expected to be operational from the beginning of next year.
Another significant initiative of the association is the creation of podcasts that aim to cover interesting topics in the professional textile care field for both professionals and the general public in the coming year. The board also decided on the venue for the INTERCLEAN conference in 2026, which will take place on October 1, 2026, at the STAGES HOTEL Prague, located next to the O2 Arena.
Following the recommendation of the Commission for Industrial Laundries, the board also approved the proposed adjustments to the certification documents according to the operating standards. There will be a revision of the fees for application registration and for the activities of the Certification Commission. The conditions for appeals against the decisions of the Certification Commission will be clarified, and newly issued certificates will be marked with a notice regarding the mandatory annual supervisory inspection of certified operations. The new wording of the documents has already been published in the section dedicated to laundry certification HERE.
The discussion on the evaluation of this year’s INTERCLEAN conference included contributions from representatives of exhibiting and partner companies such as Christeyns, Pragoperun, Professional Support, and Alliance Laundry System. The intimate space for exhibition booths and the overall high standard of the conference were particularly praised.
