The Czech Association for Textile Care has unveiled a new project – the launch of its own podcast aptly named APaČ Podcast. This series of interviews with inspiring personalities aims to raise awareness about the often unseen yet irreplaceable world of professional textile care. The podcast will be released on a monthly basis.
The APaČ Podcast aspires to become not only a modern communication tool but also a platform to promote the textile care industry, its innovations, and technological advancements. “Podcasts are an excellent way to share information, not only among our members but also with the general public, who often have no idea how crucial the role of laundries and dry cleaners really is. We also aim to educate current and potential corporate clients of industrial laundries, showing them how our services can help optimize their businesses,” explains Jana Puškáčová, President of the Czech Association for Textile Care.
In addition to raising awareness among the broader public, the APaČ Podcast will also focus on current topics relevant to the laundry and dry-cleaning industries. Furthermore, the podcast will provide space for member supplier companies to present their products, innovations, or technologies. “Through this, we aim not only to support our members but also to contribute to the development of the entire industry,” adds Puškáčová.
The first episode, now available on the APaČ YouTube channel, features an interview with President Jana Puškáčová herself. She provides insight into the association’s operations and discusses the importance of industrial laundries for corporate clients. Future episodes will delve into specialized topics—such as the issue of laundry fires and the question of textile sustainability.
In the upcoming episode of the APaČ Podcast, the association’s Vice-President, Martina Prošková, will discuss the topic of suitable textile equipment for corporate clients. She will explain why it is crucial for textiles to meet durability and sustainability requirements and will emphasize the importance of trained staff, a key factor in maintaining the long-term lifespan of linen and textiles.
