The index tracks the backward development of costs in the field of professional linen maintenance in the Czech Republic and is based on data from publicly available sources. It is divided according to the focus of traffic into:
- Washing
- Chemical cleaning
- Laundry and rental
For the purposes of calculating the value of the index, several member laundries and dry cleaners were contacted, and we thank them for their cooperation. Their average data from 2019, which was not affected by the coronavirus or energy crisis, was used as a basis. Based on these data, the Association of Laundries and Dry Cleaners of the Czech Republic subsequently approved the distribution of costs for the calculation of the index.
We will update the index quarterly and send it to the contact email of our members. The documents will also be available for download in the members’ section.
