This important session focused on strategic issues for 2025, including the discussion of linen lifespan amortization tables, worker categorization, preparations of planned activities and events for this year, and the review of financial results for 2024.
One of the main points on the agenda was the discussion of linen lifespan amortization for B2B operations. The Board formulated a draft position emphasizing the importance of selecting linen that meets the demands of intensive use in professional operations. This draft position will now be further reviewed by APaČ’s specialized committees.
The Board members also discussed the preparation of APaČ’s planned activities for 2025, including the European Open Day for Laundries, TexTalk, and the main event of the year – the INTERCLEAN conference, scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Olomouc. The association is already accepting topic proposals and suggestions for the event program from its members. This prestigious event represents a unique opportunity for sharing experiences and the latest insights in the industry.
The meeting also brought positive news regarding the association’s financial performance in 2024, which was in line with the plans. This ensures financial sustainability for the planned activities in 2025. The Board was also introduced to this year’s confirmed partners of the association. The ambition is to at least maintain the same level of contributions as in the previous year, enabling the realization of planned activities and further development of the association in 2025.
Detailed information and conclusions from the Board meeting are available in the minutes, accessible to members of the Czech Association of Laundries and Dry Cleaners in the members’ section on the website HERE.
