The Chamber of Commerce presented a draft anti-bureaucratic law at its assembly held on June 13 in Prague. According to him, the state should be legally obliged from next year to systematically review and possibly eliminate administrative actions that unnecessarily burden entrepreneurs. By reducing the administrative burden by a quarter, companies in the Czech Republic would save 18 billion crowns annually.
According to the president of the chamber Zdeněk Zajíček, the money saved could go, for example, to energy transformation, digitization, automation or robotization. The decrease in administrative duties would also be reflected in the growth of the gross domestic product, according to Zajíček, by 25 billion crowns per year. The government will discuss the draft anti-bureaucratic law with HK in the coming weeks, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said at the assembly.
The presentation of the draft law at the HK assembly also included a video in which the entrepreneurs themselves describe their experiences with excessive bureaucracy. Nikola Kasparova, a member of the APaČ board and operational manager of the laundry Caio s.r.o. spoke on behalf of the textile care sector.
