On June 11 and 12, the Association of Laundries and Dry Cleaners of the Czech Republic organized examinations for the professional qualifications of Laundromat Operator and Dry Cleaner Operator and Wet Cleaning Operator. The composition of both qualifications represents a complete qualification replacing the no longer existing professional education in the field and gives the possibility of obtaining a trade license for the Cleaning and washing of textiles and clothing.
The exams took place in the Jihlava Laundry and Dry Cleaning and the CHRIŠTOF Laundry in Brno. The cleaning one was conducted by the master craftsman in the field of laundry and dry cleaning, Ing. Martin Adamy. The examiner for the laundry exam was an honorary member of the Association, Mr. Ing. Zdeněk Kadlčík.
